Sheffield City Centre Commission

In the Winter of 2012/13 I worked With Pip Hall, letter carver, on a commissioned project for Sheffield City centre. (click here for more about Pip’s work. )

Working to Pip’s design of letters taught me more about the subtleties of letter carving and design. Here are some photos from the freshly cut letters.

It was a nice experience to be able to carve words into benches in my home town, and know that they will still be around long after I am gone.
